How come there seems to be all kinds of contriversial issues surrounding this individual????........where is the transparency he promised???.......he never divulges his grades from college...he's very defensive on all these matters.........Man I tell ya he's a plant from the global elites....groomed for a reason.....................hahahahaa

Can you expand upon these controversial issues? We've already put to bed the Kenya rumor. As for his college transcripts, it is true he has not released his transcripts, but we do know he graduated Magna Cum Laude (top 10% of the class) from Harvard Law and he was president of the Harvard Law Review. So, I think we can assume his grades were good at Harvard.

BTW, Sarah Palin refused to release her college transcripts as well, so at least this is an issue for both Republicans and Democrats. Well, you think it is an issue, I really don't care what their GPA's were in college.

Any other issues or concerns I can research for you?? You were a little vague in your assertions.

One more post on this, it was bugging me about the burden of proof provided in those YouTube videos. Well, to be fair, there was no proof provided, just assertions backed by no evidence and I knew it reminded me of something.

I guess Obama Knows............the following is from his Immigration speech 7/1/10

Hmmm, I wonder what that means, perhaps if we saw it in the larger context of the speech, we could better understand his point.

This past April, we held a naturalization ceremony at the White House for members of our armed forces. Even though they were not yet citizens, they had enlisted. One of them was a woman named Perla Ramos -- born and raised in Mexico, came to the United States shortly after 9/11, and she eventually joined the Navy. And she said, "I take pride in our flag and the history that forged this great nation and the history we write day by day." These women, and men and women across this country like them, remind us that immigrants have always helped to build and defend this country -– and that being an American is not a matter of blood or birth. It is difficult at best to take one line from a speech and to be able to understand the full meaning. But, I feel we are making real progress here in getting you to think for yourself and not just follow others. Perhaps we can celebrate Independence Day as a day when some on this board will start thinking for themselves and not just blindly following what they hear on talk radio and news channels!!

I fully agree with you that the debt is a huge problem, but certainly not one created by Obama. Here is a link to graphs showing national debt by US Presidents. I admit, it doesn't have the most recent data for Obama, but I'll keep looking. But I am sure it will not be pretty considering the mess he inherited. And if you don't want to look at the graph, I'll let you know that the President that increased the debt the greatest in relation to GDP, was George Bush in his 2nd term. He increased it by a whopping 20%. Yikes.

For full disclosure, I am a registered Republican and even I was surprised to find that Democratic Presidents have been more fiscally conservative than Republicans. But again, this is not a problem wholly owned by any one party, it is a problem we all own. So I will praise Governor Christie for passing a balanced budget, we need more of that!!
